Is there an inherent meaning to life, or must we make our own meanings?

So, I can’t just answer this one with Kittens. That doesn’t make sense.
You have to make your own meaning. There is no meaning naturally ascribed to anything. It’s all constructed. I took a class last semester about the meaning of life, and ironically I don’t really remember any of it. I’m definitely sticking with needing to create your own meaning, though. I know that I feel a lot better when I actively do something than when I wait around for someone to hand me a platter.
